Sports health, education and youth organizations must regularly adjust to changing set-ups, stakeholders’ and members’ interests, plus new duties and responsibilities. We help you to better understand current and future requirements. We support you in the development of applicable strategies and measures to meet these requirements in time. Our main focus lies on supporting the organizational development of transnational organizations and regional networks, like ENPHE.
Policy Consulting
Although sport often presents itself as non-political, it is both an object and actor of political processes. We advise political institutions such as the European Union or the Council of Europe, which consider sport a tool for social inclusion, as well as sports federations in the representation of their interests. As consultants to political institutions and numerous European sports organizations, we bring a keen knowledge of the issues and goals of both parties into the consulting processes. Our specific expertise relates to the field of international youth sports, parasports, and eduction through sport.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is a cross-cutting task that requires responsible action in all areas of business. In addition, CSR can be a crucial aspect of strategic corporate communication. Instead of or in addition to classic sport sponsorship, it can be highly effective for companies to engage in social projects related to sport. We support businesses in the selection and initiation of a suitable engagement in the sport sector, and support its communication. Being a partner to businesses and sport organizations, we develop each CSR sports project so that all stakeholders benefit from a s sustainable and transparent partnership. In cooperation with Right To Play, our Playmaker Conference connects stakeholders and enables a win-win partnership for all.

Policy Consulting
European Committee of the Regions
The European Committee of the Regions is an advisory body of the European Union, composed of locally and regionally elected representatives coming from all 27 EU Member States. Through the CoR, they are able to share their opinion on EU legislation, which directly impact the regions and cities of Europe. SPIN advised the CoR on the development of an own-initiative opinion by the French rapporteur Jacques Blanc on Sport, Disability and Leisure. The supported policy paper is an essential document to improve the EU’s disability sport policy and to develop its Europe 2020 strategy.
Organizational Development
SPIN supported the West German Handball Federation in its organizational development. The aim was to establish a strategy and structure for the further development of the regional federation within the German Handball Federation. First, the complexity of relevant influencing factors in the field of handball was systematically recorded through a scenario process, and the scope and potential of the organizational development was assessed. Then, a specific focus was set on the topic of demographic change. The demographic-related membership development of all handball clubs in the region was assessed, and corresponding tasks for the structural development of the organization derived. From the consulting process, structural reform of the federation was initiated.

Umoya Sport Foundation
The Umoya Sports Foundation is a local organization that provides opportunities for people with disabilities in India to participate in sport. The aim of the foundation is to enable holistic development for children and adolescents with disability. By spreading the joy of sport, Umoya looks to lighten the load of daily life in India for people with disabilities. Through an engagement with the sport foundation, businesses can engage in corporate social responsibility, thereby achieving positive image effects in both the emerging market India and in Germany. SPIN ensures a transparent and sustainable partnership by supporting the sports development activities in India, and also ensuring effective communication for the business.
